The Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) with the collaboration of Hubullah Welfare Society Monday organised a group exhibition titled ‘Inner Palette Journey to Healing through Art at Shakir Ali Museum’ at Shakir Ali Museum.
The purpose of the exhibition was to donate artwork for cancer-affected families from the artist community. A number of young artists from different educational institutions along with senior artists joined hands with Hubullah Welfare Society and displayed their artworks.
More than 30 paintings by 26 artists, including Amna Ismail Pataudi, Rahat Kawi, Sara Riaz Khan, Sadia Sajid, Faiza Taufique, Shireen Rasul, Fatima naeem, Beenish Khan, Arham bin Asif, Saima Asghar, Raja Najamul Hassan, Sumaira Cheema, Farooq Siyal, Ruquya Haq, Imran Ali, Noor-ul-Ain Khawaja, Sana naeem, Syeda Iffat, Hira Siqqiqui Saadia, hussain, Maham Mahboob, Fatima Malik, Fahim babar, Fatima Muzammil, Fariha Mobin Karamat, Sehrish Mazhar, Tahir Zaman and Asia were displayed at the exhibition.
In this connection, a colourful ceremony was organised by both organisations to encourage young artists, who have participated in this noble cause. Hubullah Welfare Society patron-in-chief Prof Dr Ahsan Waris participated as a chief guest along with Dr Javed Iqbal (cartoonist). Hubullah Welfare Society President Ehsanur Rehman, Ghulam Mustafa and Shakir Ali Museum Director Amna Pataudi were key speakers.
