”A JOURNEY TO HEALING THROUGH ART”

An exhibition of paintings opened at the first Cancer Art Gallery of the country at 432 G3 Johar Town Lahore.

The gallery has an aim to create awareness on cancer through artworks, a project of Hubullah Welfare society the gallery will entertain young artists exhibition without any commission.

The exhibition was jointly inaugurated by Patron in Chief Hubullah Welfare Society Professor Dr Ahsan Waris, Principal NCA Murtaza Jaffri, and ED LAC Ather Ali Khan. President HWS an internationally known oncologist Dr Ehsan Ur Rahman on the occasion spoke on the very theme and objectives of the art gallery. A good number of art fanciers, artists and people from different walks of life attended the exhibition. Most of the participating artists were of the view that such initiatives in visual art are not beneficial for young artists but also instrumental in creating awareness on a disease like cancer.

The participating artists were given certificates and gifts. The distinguished guests were given shields. The exhibition comprised of donated artworks will remain on display for three days.
