LIVING WITH POLIO, STRUGGLE STORY OF YOUNG TARIQ

Special persons have a special place in the society. Calling them disabled is a story of the past now they are called special persons and that’s what decency is all about. Hubullah Welfare Society is not only providing food to the needy and deserving people but also trying to make their lives comfortable. One such example is that of Muhammad Tariq a special person who has lost his legs in childhood with polio. The top most thing about him that he is a vocalist , an emerging singer who daily used to reach Alhamra Art Center, The Mall on his special cycle which he drives with his hand. “It takes me some two hours to reach at Alhamra from the old city near Minare-e- Pakistan and I found the process extremely difficult”, said Tariq. “ I am a tea maker I have given up learning singing because of this transport hassle”, he added. Hubullah Welfare Society in an effort to ease his daily life struggle has provided him with a battery driven special vehicle so that he could reach his destination easily and spread peace and love among people through his singing. The only weapon against present day extremism and hatred for music is a universal language that touches hearts across the globe.
